New director appointed to CDU Academy of the Arts

Congratulations to Dr Amanda Morris who has been appointed as director to Charles Darwin University’s new Academy of the Arts.

The new academy aims to offer tertiary creative arts education programs in visual, screen and performing arts to students in the Northern Territory with a focus on contemporary Australian art and First Nations arts practices.

Dr Morris joins CDU after 17 years at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), most recently in the role of Executive Director Conservatoire.
