Research led by academics at the UK University of Exeter and funded by the AHRC has reported that ‘the arts and humanities had a significant and positive role to play during the COVID‐19 pandemic, and should be considered central to any government response to future crises alongside medical and economic policies’
The research project worked with 77 research teams across the UK to focus on the impact of the pandemic on individuals and communities with the aim of providing evidence and learnings that could inform policy responses to future pandemics.
