Colleagues who are exploring the potential influence that UK research policy may have upon Australian research evaluation and funding may be interested in the Consultation paper just released by HEFCE (PDF) in preparation for the next UK Research Evaluation Framework.  It provides a number of suggested recommendations relating tostaff selection, evaluation and assessment processes which UK academics are invited to comment upon.
