Harvard University and Berklee College of Music have announced a five year dual degree which will allow music students to capitalise upon the expertise offered in each institution. Students who are accepted will be able to combine the classical and theoretical focus offered by Harvard with the jazz and contemporary music, film, TV and games scoring and practical production programs offered by Berklee.
Applications for the program commenced in July 2016 but are expected to be highly competitive as the five to ten students who are accepted each year will need to successfully complete both Harvard and Berklee admission processes.
