Former UK Vice Chancellor, inaugural president of the Australian Council of the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences and ANU DVC Malcolm Gillies returns to ANU as temporary head of the School of Music.  Professor Gillies is expected to hold the position for six months while the Podger report is finalised and the search for a new permanent head of school continues.
