Perspectives on creative arts in higher education
The Australia Council has released its 2018-19 Annual Report, Valuing the Arts, highlighting support for the creation of more than 9500 new works and 1000 world premieres.
Australia Council Chair Sam Walsh AO reinforced the importance of the arts in Australia, calling for ‘far greater recognition to the value of the arts and creativity’ and its contribution to ‘our nation’s health, education, industry, global affairs and more’.
