Call for papers and peer reviewers: Journal of Art, Design and Communication in Higher Education

The Journal of Art, Design and Communication in Higher Education (ADCHE) is a well-established international journal which welcomes articles relating to learning and teaching in higher education creative arts disciplines. The journal was founded over 10 years ago and was one of the first to offer opportunities to publish and share the emerging pedagogic research and scholarship in art, design and media related disciplines within higher education. Within each Volume there is an opportunity for one issue to be themed and guest edited. These are usually related to a conference or activity which attracts research into learning and teaching in relevant subject disciplines.

We would like to invite the presenters from the 2020 ACUADS Conference: Crisis & Resilience: art and design looks ahead to consider contributing your paper to this journal. The 2020 Conference has provided a platform for critical engagement with the diverse teaching practices and approaches in art and design, and through crisis and resilience revealed the potential value of new and adaptive educational strategies to stimulate the advancement of creative learning and teaching methods in our increasingly changing contexts.

Non-ACUADS conference presenters are also welcome to submit articles on the topic.

Our author submission guidance can be found here:

http://www.intellectbooks.co.uk/journals/view-Journal,id=139/

It is essential that any work that is submitted for publication is not already in the public domain and articles accepted for publication cannot be uploaded to the internet before the publication of the journal. We acknowledge however, that institutions often need to record research outputs through their own repositories and this can be done post publication and in alignment with the publishers’ guidelines.

We also welcome expressions of interest from delegates interested in potentially peer reviewing ACUADS 2020 submissions to the journal.

Please contact ACUADS Executive Member: Veronika Kelly veronika.kelly@unisa.edu.au  should you have any questions about a potential submission to the journal of your ACUADS 2020 presentation or if you are interested in being a peer reviewer.
