Based in Melbourne for 24 years, she built an art practice focused on nature as a social construct. Professor Kit Wise

Professor Kit Wise

Professor Kit Wise is Director and Head of School for the Tasmanian College of the Arts, University of Tasmania and an Adjunct Professor at Monash University. His research focuses on approaches to and outcomes from interdisciplinary education and research. He is also an art writer, curator and practising artist, represented by Sarah Scout Presents, Melbourne.

Professor Matthew Allen

Matthew Allen is currently head of the School of Communication and Creative Arts at Deakin University, and Professor of Internet Studies. His research mainly considers the profound transformations wrought on culture and society by network technologies. Matthew’s dancing is excessively 80s, his drawing childish, and his film making amateurish. But he did once audition for BMX Bandits ( now that would have been a sliding doors moment!). He hopes to make a modest contribution to the creative arts through his knowledge of bureaucratic machination.

Professor Frank Millward

Professor Frank Millward

Professor Frank Millward

An accomplished composer, multimedia artist, teacher and academic, Frank Millward makes connections between ways of seeing and hearing sound. His audiovisual approach includes traditional and contemporary ideas involving the creation of sound worlds where spectrographic imaging is used to develop a distinctive isomorphic sonic and performance language. His research has led to innovative works such as the DVD Uneasy Dreams, where abstract three-dimensional spectrographic moving images are presented as both score and representation of musical content in interactive performance. Currently he is completing commissions, including Brian & Banksy for presentation at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival with the Delta Saxophone Quartet. He is Professor of Music at the University of Newcastle.
