NiTRO so far…

Since its first edition in July 2016, 46 editions of NiTRO have been released. With the exception of 2022, NiTRO was released every six weeks during the Academic year. In 2022, seven editions were released.

The number of users and page views have grown steadily over this time.

In addition to users accessing articles and items in the newest edition, access numbers to articles from previous editions remains strong, indicating how useful readers find NiTRO for research or issue reading interest. This is highlighted in the list of most accessed articles over NiTRO’s history which includes pieces from across the years it has been produced.

Last year seven of the five editions were co-edited with DDCA board members and member institutions which has brought in new voices and new perspectives to NiTRO. We featured contributions from 75 contributors both national and international, including seven arts organisations and practitioners.

Overall Edition 41: Metaphor, meaning, message: Imagined representations of the creative arts attracted the most users, while Edition 40: The essence of creative arts leadership, advocacy and representation had the highest number of page views. These Editions are still available to view at www.nitro.edu.au and will be available on the new website shortly.

There is a wonderful story to be told in some of the more nuanced statistics which we look forward to sharing with you in a later issue this year.
