Artsworx, the University of Southern Queensland’s creative services, academic support and event/ activity unit is under review, following on from the university’s academic restructure last year that saw the creation of separate schools of creative arts and humanities. The official consultation period is ongoing until April. A university spokesperson confirmed:
In the spirit of reconciliation, the DDCA acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
