Ombudsman to investigate maladministration at ANU School of Music

The Commonwealth Ombudsman is reported to be investigating claims of maladministration by ANU leadership as part of its governance of the School of Music. Accepting a petition from former ANU Music School Head Peter Tregear, ANU’s current and former VCs and other senior managers may be among those whose conduct will be investigated in a review that includes questions of conflict of interest, preferential staff treatment and nepotism, and lack of consultation and access to school financial information.
