Professor Michele Forinash is the director of the PhD program in Expressive Therapies at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, USA, where she has been on the faculty for 23 years. She is a past president of the American Music Therapy Association and past Chair of the US National Coalition of Arts Therapies Association. In this free lecture, Dr. Forinash will be speaking on various aspects of Arts Based Research. In ABR the arts can be used at each stage in the research process including identifying the research question, data collection, data analysis and disseminating the results. She will also speak about supervising ABR studies and will brainstorm with participants about how to use ABR to work with marginalized communities.
