Eleven Edith Cowan University students and Alumni with a Visual Arts education will be holding an exhibition, conference and artist talks over the weekend of International Women’s Day, 2019. The exhibition titled, WOMXN, celebrates womanhood coupled with the opportunity to critically explore gender roles, examine dominant societal attitudes and the notions of rigidity that surround them.
As a supplement to the exhibition the ARTiculate Conference will take place on Saturday the 9th of March. Guest speakers have been invited to delve into their experiences and explore various topics relating to contemporary arts practice including arts management, dealing with artistic ‘rejection’ and maintaining artistic practice and discipline.
