Perspectives on creative arts in higher education

Australian Human-Computer Interaction Conference

NiTRO contributor Ben A Shneiderman has made contact to alert NiTRO readers to the Human-Computer Interaction OZCHI conference taking place in December.

Those of us who particularly enjoyed reading Ben’s article on creativity and collaboration in NiTRO in April will be interested to know that he will also be delivering the opening keynote on 11 December this year. He said “I am deeply committed to the larger goals of thoughtful design and effective governance to limit the dangers and increase the benefits of Human-Centered AI to individuals, organizations, and society. Achieving HCAI will increase human performance, while supporting human self-efficacy, creativity, and responsibility and respecting human values, rights, and dignity”.
