Queensland College of Art New Appointments

Queensland College of Art, Griffith University has announced three new appointments in Design. Associate Professor Katja Fleischmann, former Head of Design and Innovation at James Cook University and Professor of Print Design and Interactive Media at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, brings her expertise on the role of design in social, public and economic innovation. Dr Tanja Beer will move from the University of Melbourne to take up a post as senior lecturer in interior design. Dr Vincent Moug joins QCA from his previous position as post-doctoral research fellow in Monash University’s Mobility Design Lab. Meanwhile, artist Carol McGregor has been appointed to oversee the Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art programme.
