Job: Lecturer in Australian Indigenous Arts

Fixed term, part time appointment (0.60 FTE)
Teaching Focused Academic – Level A/B 

“As the Lecturer in Australian Indigenous Arts, you will coordinate and teach units and programs that provide a First Nations perspective on creative arts across a range of the Academy of the Arts courses with a focus on Higher Education. 

The successful candidate will have the knowledge and skills to teach in visual arts, with the capacity to engage across arts disciplines with other colleagues… 

The position will be responsible for the delivery of a new online course: The Pedagogy of Indigenous Knowledge Sharing through Creative and Cultural Practices, as well as teaching into degree-level Arts units. The position may be required to undertake some teaching in remote indigenous communities.”
